After over 150 posts on songwriting, studio work and the music business, I’ve decided to step away from my blog to purse new avenues for my songwriting and teaching.

That being said, I’ve worked very hard to make sure that most, if not all, of these posts have what they call “evergreen” information. This means that what was true when I wrote each post is still true today.

Most of what makes songs work, recordings sound great and songwriting careers successful is timeless.

To that end, I’d highly encourage you – my constant readers – to use the search function on my blog home page to research any questions you may have about songs, song pitching, the music business and making the most of your studio experience.

I should also say that just because I’m stepping away from my blog does NOT mean I won’t be available for studio work, songwriting consultations and teaching.

Thank you for your time, your trust, your comments and your endless creativity.

And, of course, good luck!
