Heather
and I met through our mutual friend, Shi-Anne
Ragsdale (who is a wonderful
singer and songwriter
in her own right). I had known Heather for years
before
I heard some of her music on a demo tape she’d given
to
our friend, Tom Kimmel, to listen to. But when
I
heard her sing jazz is when
it all started to make
sense to me. Heather has a low, sultry quality to
her
voice
that is stunning and uniquely her own. One of
the songs we
wrote and produced for Heather’s project
will be released in August
of this year in a Julianne Moore/
David Duchovny movie entitled “Trust
the Man.”
