Tom and I have worked on several projects together over
the years starting with his Short Stories album then on to
Shallow Water, Honor Among Thieves (a trio record he did
with his group, the Sherpas) and finally Light of Day. We’re
currently in pre-production for Tom’s next solo project. Tom’s
music is the perfect blend of poetic lyrics, compelling melody
and a rough, emotional vocal tone that is deceptive in its
plainspoken delivery. Tom’s as good as they come.  There are
a few other people who feel the same way like Levon Helm,
Johnny Cash, Joe Cocker, Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris &
Shawn Colvin since they’ve all recorded his songs.
